PEF celebrated a wonderful night on Wednesday, June 17, at Seared Restaurant’s River Room in downtown Petaluma.

The evening brought together comedy, community, and generosity for a special fundraiser benefiting the Petaluma Educational Foundation. Guests enjoyed a hilarious and heartfelt performance from The Mommies, Caryl Kristensen and Marilyn Kentz, as they shared outrageous behind-the-scenes stories, reflections on their journey from a cul-de-sac in Petaluma to national television, and a look at their newest chapter with The Last Trimester.

PEF is grateful to have Caryl Kristensen serve as a PEF Board Member, and it was meaningful to see her and Marilyn bring so many people together in support of local students and schools.

A special thank you to Seared Restaurant for generously hosting the event in the River Room and helping create such a warm, welcoming, and fun evening from start to finish.

The night was hilarious, meaningful, and a wonderful reflection on the history and success of The Mommies, their friendship, and the next chapters ahead.

PEF is proud and grateful to be a recipient of The Mommies’ generous donations. Proceeds from the evening directly support PEF’s mission to provide grants and scholarships to 35 Petaluma-area schools, benefiting more than 12,000 students annually.

Thank you to everyone who came out, laughed with us, and helped support PEF’s mission to create opportunities for all Petaluma students.
