Clo Cow Races Support Petaluma Students and Schools

Clo Cow Race

For more than a decade, the Clo Cow Half Marathon, 10K & 5K has brought runners, walkers, and families together in Petaluma. Since 2013, the race has contributed more than $25,000 to Petaluma Educational Foundation, helping support educational opportunities for local students.

The race begins in historic downtown Petaluma and takes participants through the rolling hills of Sonoma County farm country. Named for Clover Sonoma’s beloved Clo the Cow, it celebrates the place we call home while giving participants an opportunity to support local causes.

At PEF, community contributions help fund impact grants and scholarships for Petaluma-area students. We are grateful to the Clo Cow organizers for including PEF in this tradition, and to the participants, volunteers, and donors who have helped make their generosity possible over the years.

The next Clo Cow Half Marathon, 10K & 5K takes place Sunday, October 11, 2026. We hope you’ll join the fun, whether you run, walk, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines.
