Meet the Heart of PEF: Our Community

This November and December marked a meaningful milestone for the Petaluma Educational Foundation. We launched our Holiday Season Board and Staff Match Campaign, inviting our community to join us in supporting local education through a $30,000 matching challenge.

Throughout the campaign, we shared quotes and stories from the heart of PEF. Members of our Board and staff shared why they choose to give their time, resources, and energy to strengthen education across Petaluma. Together, we challenged the community with a call to action to Fund the Future, benefiting the PEF Impact Grant Program.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, in those 60 days, we exceeded our full $30,000 match. Every gift made during the campaign was doubled, expanding support for classrooms, educators, and students across Petaluma’s public, private, and charter schools.

This campaign was about more than a match. It was about connection, shared values, and a collective belief in the power of education. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated, shared, donated, and cheered this effort forward. You are the reason this campaign was possible.
