The Heart of PEF: Introducing Our November & December Board & Staff Match

This November & December marks something new for the Petaluma Educational Foundation (PEF): the launch of our first-ever Board and Staff Match Campaign. Throughout the month, we’re celebrating the people at the heart of our organization, our dedicated Board and Staff who give their time, energy, and resources to strengthen education in our community. To honor their leadership and generosity, they have come together to create a $30,000 Matching Challenge, inviting the community to join them in supporting local students and schools.

All months long, donations to Fund the Future, benefiting the PEF Impact Grant Program, will be matched dollar for dollar up to $30,000. Contributions made during November and December will have twice the impact, directly supporting innovative classroom programs and resources that enrich education across Petaluma-area schools.

The campaign, The Heart of PEF, is both a thank-you and an invitation. It recognizes the people who help make PEF’s work possible while encouraging our broader community to get involved. Throughout November, we’ll share quotes and stories from our Board and Staff about why they give and what inspires them to invest in the next generation of Petaluma students and schools.

Since 1982, PEF has been powered by community support, investing over $10 million in local education through classroom grants, scholarships, and innovative programs. Your participation in this new matching campaign helps continue that legacy, ensuring that our students have access to the tools, opportunities, and experiences they need to thrive.
