Warm Winter Reflections: Celebrating PEF’s Achievements and Looking Ahead
Friends of PEF,
It’s hard to believe 2024 is already coming to a close! Wasn’t it just yesterday that we were doing our best Bond impressions over martinis at the Mission Possible BASH?
As winter settles in, we naturally find ourselves slowing down, cozying up, and reflecting on all we’ve learned and accomplished over the past 12 months. But at PEF, this season also marks a crucial time for action.
While many organizations wrap up their calendars, we’re just hitting our stride. Our Fund the Future campaign—aligned with the school year—needs your support now more than ever. At 65% of our goal, we’re counting on our community to help close the gap and create brighter futures for Petaluma students.
Besides, what better gift is there than the gift of education? By contributing to Fund the Future, you are directly supporting local schools, students, and programs that inspire creativity, spark innovation, and build a foundation for tomorrow's leaders to thrive today. You can even make your donation in honor of someone special—a meaningful gift that keeps giving for years to come.
Let’s make the magic of learning accessible for all. Donate now and be part of a legacy that transforms lives.
There’s so much to celebrate in this edition: exciting PEF news, event updates, and highlights from impactful grants that are already making a difference. Together, we can make the future brighter for every student in our community.
With gratitude,
Your friends at PEF
Maureen, Katy, Sharon & Stacey

Want to join the giving spirit? There are two ways to make an impact:
- Volunteer your time: Become part of our team and help keep the stores running smoothly.
- Donate your items: Clear out your closets and donate unwanted clothes, decor, furniture, or other household items in good condition.
Every contribution—whether of time or treasures—helps PEF create brighter futures for our students. Learn more about how to get involved by visiting Alphabet Soup’s website. Thank you for supporting education and your community!
